
Dolores Hydock is an award-winning actress and storyteller, whose performances have been featured at theaters, festivals, universities, story concerts and special events throughout the US. Her four CDs of original stories received Resource Awards from Storytelling World magazine, and she has twice received the Outstanding Actress award for her performances at Birmingham Festival Theatre. She performs with PanHarmonium, formed in 1987 to recreate the music of ancient times using appropriate instruments & musical styles. www. storypower.org Sandra Lewis (aka Emma McFinch) embraces the philosophy of the “Renaissance Man,” holding endorsements to teach 14 different subjects. She is currently teaching Theatre at WCHS. Sandy received a BA in Secondary Education – English Communication and a MA in Special Ed from TTU. She is currently working on a second masters’ degree in Storytelling from ETSU. Sandy credits her nephew Dylan with encouraging her multiple personality disorder to the point where she is driven to become a wide array of characters including pirates, witches, horses, sea monsters, and, of course, Emma McFinch the Saucy Winch. Stephen Seifert began playing the mountain dulcimer in 1991. He is now a favorite at festivals and clubs around the country. Besides authoring a long list of books and videos, serving as dulcimer soloist with symphonies around the country, and organizing the world's first chromatic dulcimer festival. www.stephensiefert.com Paolo Garbanzo won the International Jester Competition at Muncaster Castle, England last year making him the official Fool of Muncaster and Honorary Fool of England. Lady Medb, Keeper of the Hounds learned in the SCA that to pass on the past helps children learn about the future. She now goes to schools RenFairs and explains how animals helped people in medieval times. She was a teacher for 10 years. She lives here in Sparta with her hound K.C. Lady Elizabeth performs Une Chanson Francaise, a bawdy French song that the audience should be prepared to sing along with! When she's wearing other clothes she's a teacher here at WCMS. The Human Chess Match pits Vikings versus Wendol in an epic struggle based on the movie The Thirteenth Warrior and features "battle chess" where players must fight to take the square. Tree Park Players is a group of middle school students performing "The Princess Knight," a play about Two Left Feet, a Renaissance Dance Troupe from our middle school, performs several dances originating from France, England and Russia that were performed in the 15th and 16th centuries. |
